Dave's Hideout

If anyone of you really knows Dave then you know this move here was probably the hardest thing he has ever had to do (besides raise Jess of course) but did it he did. He has always been a great husband and when I said we needed to move because my parents needed me well he did it. He drug his feet, and once we got here there was minor kicking and screaming but nonetheless here he is in Planet Utah.

One of the things that made this even remotely do-able was golf. He embraced this little golf course called "The Hideout" as they embraced him. He met friends here and was able to start a good business through the people he met here. It was aptly named.

When his mother Sally arrived The Hideout was a big event on the agenda and even she approved.

They had a blast and her trip will be for another blog.

This course has saved my husbands sanity. He plays 2-3 times a week if not more if it can be worked in. He has made wonderful friends such as Josh and Justin and their father Jim. Actually he has made so many friends here they are really too numerous to name.

It is located at the base of a mountain called the Blue Mountain or as the Navajos call it the Abajo (which means blue). All of this is located in a beautiful sleepy little town called Monticello.

So the man has played alot of golf. He has entered every tournament and has won, coming in 2nd or third, many cool golf shirts for me. He's great like that...he always shares the winnings with the wife. But finally after years of patience and practice he finally won the big one.

He came in first in his flight and everyone is so
proud of him. Keeping the press away has been a bit of a challenge but we manage. So to all you great golfers at home in Virginia and you Gompers in California...well good luck catching up to this guy. What can I say ...he's on fire.
Because I am so proud of him I dedicate this post to him. You earned it honey and I love you for it.
Best Golf Wishes to All
Lisa
